Thierry Mugler: Couturissime made me gasp with wonder as I entered every fantastical room made even the more surreal thanks in part to digital environment artist Frederic St-Arnaud of starno. You are brought into a snowflake, under the sea, through the rain forest and into the future.

I attended the Montréal Couture event In the Company of Designers (with streetstyle photographer Sewze) last night celebrating the prominent Quebec designers like Denis Gagnon and Marie Saint Pierre who are part of the exhibit. (Be sure to check out the impressive paper art by Miss Cloudy shown with Philippe Dubuc’s work.)

Thierry Mugler and Tyra Banks both spoke to a pulsating room of fashion lovers. Thierry made his entrance from the heavens, and Tyra caused the stir you need for an unforgettable event.

It was so good, it almost transported me to Paris for Fashion Week. Except that all of this fabulosity was in our very own backyard.
