SYML’s New Song “Girl” is an Ode to His Daughter

As I said here, I am in love with this man’s voice. I saw him preform earlier this year and I’m so excited to see him live again this Thursday at La Tulipe.

Over the summer he released a new song called “Girl”. It’s about his daughter Josie who needed surgery. Don’t worry she is fine.

He shared with the audience that part of how he copes with life’s challenges is through his song-writing. It’s an incredibly personal story and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when he sang “Girl”.
