How to wear coats, colour & embroidery @StellaMcCartney #PFW #FUN

I have a very soft spot for Stella McCartney.  It may be because my dad was born in Liverpool and even though he grew up in Newcastle, he told me that he was the 5th Beatle.  Somewhere in my mind there is a world where Stella and I go to their concerts together and hang out backstage…anyways, I digress..cough cough.  The real reason must be because of how much she cares about sustainability in fashion, a cause very close to my own heart.

Stella’s show took place at the Opera Garnier.  I have included a picture of the statues outside the building dancing just as the models did at her show.  The theme for this post is FUN because that was what her show represented to me.

Once again this show brought out the best in the fashion crowd.  The attention to detail was not lost.

The details went all around to the back with embroidery.

There was also FUN to be had with colour.

At the beginning of this fashion week I noticed how the fashionistas love to wear their jackets over the shoulders but no arms in…they are incredibly adept to using their phones, hugging and doing all sorts of things without their jackets slipping off.  Then by midweek I noticed that it had gone from the jacket resting, to one shoulder completely exposed.

There was again some play with longer proportions
