I have a very soft spot for Stella McCartney. It may be because my dad was born in Liverpool and even though he grew up in Newcastle, he told me that he was the 5th Beatle. Somewhere in my mind there is a world where Stella and I go to their concerts together and hang out backstage…anyways, I digress..cough cough. The real reason must be because of how much she cares about sustainability in fashion, a cause very close to my own heart.
Stella’s show took place at the Opera Garnier. I have included a picture of the statues outside the building dancing just as the models did at her show. The theme for this post is FUN because that was what her show represented to me.
Once again this show brought out the best in the fashion crowd. The attention to detail was not lost.
The details went all around to the back with embroidery.
There was also FUN to be had with colour.

P.S. So I have added this picture of a jacket from Rochas SS 2017 collection so that you are all WAAAAAAYYY ahead of the curve for next spring. You’re welcome. xo
That’s the best coat ever! Thank you for the tips!
In other news, I need one of those long boxy sweater coats. Can we make these?
