Pink is such a relaxing, soft, and optimistic color and yet a lot of people shy away from it. I guess they don’t associate it with an adult’s taste. I say, with the right color combinations, it can feel all grown up.
Since Rose Quartz was named the Pantone color of 2016, there are now so many examples of how to use pink in a sophisticated and modern way on Pinterest and beyond.
I love the idea of painting part of a wall, a door, or a closet in pink to inject a little sophisticated femininity and light into a room.
(I also love a good pink bag, blazer, or throw. I recently bought this one in “rosette” on sale at West Elm to cozy up my living room.)
Here is some of my favorite P-inspiration featuring the Pantone colors of the year.
After all, don’t you want a little softness and serenity in your adult oasis called home?
